Okay.  Last night I talked to Dan on IM.  I figured, hey, he’s traveled all over New Jersey, he probably knows at least the generals of how to get to this place.  So, it turns out he does.  I figured, Hooray!  Now I can get there!  He gives me directions, I asked him about Mike’s birthday, he said to bug him in two weeks, so we’re good.

Today, Pidgey woke me up at around ten thirty, but I wanted to sleep in, and I wound up oversleeping till one thirty.  Yeah, not so good . . .  Heh . . .

So, Mike and I got his paycheck and I dropped him of at work, got gas, and went in search of this place.  I was fine until I got to Route Nine.  Then Mapquest said to take Ferry Road, and get onto North Nine.  Well, I took Ferry Road, but wound up at the Raritan Bay Medical Center.  So, I was like, “All right . . .  I’m lost.  I hate to admit it, but I gottaplay follow the leader.”  So I called Dan, and luckily he answered, considering the house he was at gives no signal whatsoever for cell phones.  He gave me directions to get to a Hollywood video, and said he’d meet me there.  After getting turned around once, I made it to the video place, and we started driving.  Well, we didn’t find the place.  The only buildings over where the address should be are a church, and a shopping center!  So, I don’t know, maybe the whole thing is based in the church?  ::Shrugs::  Anyway, he said I owed him big for this one.  Lol.  We did find a place that had the right number address, but the wrong road.  It was a dance studio place.  So, as we’re walking back to the car, I decided screw it, I’d call them when I got back from work tomorrow, and if nothing came from that, I’d go somewhere else.  Before we got into our cars, I asked Dan if he wanted to go to FunTime and play DDR.  He said nah, that he had to finish up a house, then said, “Unles you feel like helping me clean a kitchen?”  I figured what the heck, shrugged, and said, “What the heck, why not?”

I followed him there, and I swear to God, the place looks like the house from the Grudge.  That was really creepy.  We finished up the job, and he said that we were even.  That’s good enough for me.  🙂  Then he led me, the backroads way, to FunTime, we DDRed, and now I’m home, writing about this, wondering if Jess is gonna call me back or if I’ll just see her online.

Yeah, so I’m probably just gonna look into places in Redbank.  There were a couple there.  I’m not giving up if I can help it.
