528 – Don’t Worry, I Won’t Break

Okay, well, when I was walking home form work earlier today, it suddenly dawned on me that I had absolutely no reason to be depressed over Monday’s events.  So everything didn;t go the way I’d’ve liked it to.  So what?  Mike Keller actually defended me to another person, and I got confirmation that my plan for his birthday is a good idea, and will hopefully accomplish my goal.  For one night, if nothing else.

See, one of my main reasons for doing this is because I think that Mike Keller needs to learn how to act like a kid again.  And one of the things that he, semi-scornfully I’ll admit, said about laser tag was that yeah, it was all right, “if you’re twelve.”  Hmmm . . .  Sounds like the age of a KID to me, how about you?  And he did say that it would be okay to play it, “with some good friends, and in the right place.”  So, yeah, I’m taking a gamble that we are good friends, and that FunTime America is a right place, but hey, especially considering him, I have to take some gambles.

On another upside, I was able to talk to the guys at Game Factory, and they can order the Invasion box if I put half the money down as a deposit.  So, I’m gonna see about doing that on Monday.

Okay I have more to write about, and believe me, I didn’t skip an entry number, the other one’s just private until I finish writing it.

I renamed myself Glass Girl because sometimes that’s how I feel sometimes.  Like I’m delicate, like I’ll break if one more thing happens.  But then, the title suggests that of a mirror, shining a reflection back at you.  Whether that reflection is one of myself, or of you, I’m not sure.  It depends on who I’m talking to.  Maybe it’s both of us, standing side by side.  Or perhaps it’s the part of myself that I see in you.  Or the part of you I see in me.

::Smiles with eyes downcast::  No . . . I won’t break.  Not yet.  Not until I have nothing left to fight for.  And ::looks around:: there’s plenty for me to fight for.
