Heh . . . Ironic . . .

That title is meant to be said with something of a lifeless tone, so everyone knows. It’s not sarcasm. Memories with Phil in MSEP have been flooding back to me. That was the theater group we were in together, with about twenty odd other people. We were never close, or anything. Admittedly, I had a crush on him back then, but then I had a crush on anything male back then. But I just remembered this one thing…

We were doing a scene of Bye Bye Birdie. The Telephone talk one. You know– “Hi, Marcie!” “Hi, Helen!” “What’s the story morning glory?” “What’s the tale, nightingale?” “Have you heard about Hugo and Kim?” That one. And there’s this one dorky kid with a high, squeaky voice who calls these three girls, asking if they’d go with him to the prom. They all refuse, obviously, but Kris needed someone to play that character, and Phil was the only guy who wasn’t in that scene, so he had to play the dorky guy. He stood on the stage, after finding out that he had t play the part, and said, “I wil haunt you. I swear, I will come to you in your nightmares for this.” And we were all laughing. He made a great Conrad the first time I was in MSEP. He was the best one all three times we did it.

God. How could he . . . God. I just . . . I’m still in shock, to some degree. I find it ironic, though… I wonder if he will haunt Kris? ::wry laugh::
