Goodbye, My Friend

This was a song the choir performed for graduation the end of my junior year. It’s rather appropriate for how I feel right now. I guess. Amidst tears and nose runnings last night when I was outside walking around, just letting the tears and sobs come, I was trying to sing it. I find it kind of ironic that one song that was stuck in my head I believe yesterday morning was that No Doubt one. Two lines from it, anyway. “I really feel that I’m losing my best friend. I can’t believe this could be the end . . .”

Time to say goodbye, my friend

it’s time for something new.

it’s sad to say, but true.

We knew that there would come a time,

a moment like today . . .

As for Jason, there’s ceryainly a lot I can’t even begin to understand between the two of you since your relationship is unique and special…but if he is this important to you than you should just let him know that. I think friendships can end based on caring too much. Not to say friends shouldn’t care, but a more relaxed attitude would make things less intense. I’m not sure if that makes sense, but that’s just what I think. I mentioned you in my 2nd most recent entry (my Christmas to-do list) [DorkAlert]
