whatever and ever amen
Apparently some random noters didn’t appreciate the tax humor in my previous post. The three now-deleted notes included comments such as "selfish bastard" and "money-grubber." Whatever. Remove the moose antlers from your rectum and loosen up. To tell you the truth, my wife’s OB-GYN was the one who informed us that we would benefit financially from the child being born a few days early. I had no idea. I thought it was funny.

The fact that the child is a boy settles a disagreement we were having over girl names. The two names I liked the most, Scarlett and Teagan, were vetoed by my wife. The first because it reminded her of her high school literature classes and the latter simply because she hated it.
Boogers to those who don’t see the humor. In fact, it is a worthy tax deduction. My college roommate was due mid-December 2004. By Christmas the kid hadn’t arrived. She informed the doc that she WOULD deliver that child before the stroke of midnight December 31, by hook or by crook. Her deceased mother’s estate settled that year and she really did need the deduction. He was born 12/30. Whew!

hmmm… names are tricky man, really tricky. you dont want the poor thing to get beat up or anything… but parents seem to want something ‘different’ these days which sometimes borderlines ‘foolish’… tricky man, really tricky. good luck!

I used to be in love with the name Scarlett. I knew a girl in high school (who later became one of my very close friends) who was drop-dead gorgeous and named Scarlett. She had the best sense of humor, too, so I figured I’d give my daughter a head start, if I ever had a daughter, lol. So what are the boy names to choose from?

Re: Yes, I am in central Louisiana, otherwise known as Cenla to us locals. The hurricane is doing its damage about thirty miles from where I am, but so far al we’ve seen of it is a lot of wind and a little bit of rain. Thankfully.
