%$#@& Ebay!  Damn seller opened an unpaid item dispute with me, and I had to go fill out a $%@& form that I didn’t have ANY of the info for, because remember, I bought TWO DDR discs, so I didn’t know which one was which, and I paid for them both at the same time, making my confusion even worse.  So I filled out the form as best I could, but I wasn’t going to go tracking down the information.  Now the seller has to deal with it.  Whole thing just pisses me off though.  I was in here, screaming, swearing, and Bec and Shabree were like "What?"  I said, nothing, it’s fine.  Bec’s okay with that, but Shabree… hates it when I yell.  Thankfully though, she was okay.

Syd’s mom called today (Jane), asking if we could come pick up Syd.  She has a sore throat (Jane, not Syd).  That was quick.  Figures.

We got the front room… the office, cleaned out for the most part today.  We still need to go through all the mail and make SURE it can be trashed, most of it probably can be.  Then we’ll put a different desk in the corner, and I’ll set up their computer, and we need a place to put their book and school supplies (for now, I’m just storing them in the desk drawers, well, not the books, but the school supplies).  But the old couch, which we’d put in there, is now in the back yard until the trash pick up day, and much of the trash has been trashed.  There are still things to do to clean…but if we HAD to, we could work in there.  The one desk needs some cleaning, that’s where the mail is piled, but other than that, there are plenty of clean work surfaces.  I’m feeling good about it.  We’re thinking we need a bookshelf for the books, or maybe put them in some of those plastic carts… dunno, those might be too flimsy.

We did go to breakfast this morning, paid 7 dollars for me and Jerry and Shabree.  Right on.  It was delicious too.  I had an omelet, quiche, hash browns, chicken fried steak w/ country gravy, and a waffle w/ cherry topping, chocolate chips and whipped cream.  That was dessert.  Yum.  I was SO ready to go by the time we were done though…Alex was screaming and putting up a fuss because I didn’t want her to hold her chocolate milk and spill it everywhere.  I took a nap when I got home.  Jerry was rather pissed about that, but I NEEDED that nap.  I don’t know why I needed it, because I got plenty of sleep last night, but I did, and so I took a nap.  Besides, I am the one who started cleaning out the front room when I got up, after I had some lunch.  Becca was gone to the library, so Shabree helped some.  Not a lot, but some.

When Becca got home, she said there was a house with some free toys and books out front, so we went to check it out and SCORED big time!  Sammi loves trains, and this kid had a TON of them, including a Little People train, though we’re still trying to figure out if all the pieces are there or not.  They may not be.  But still, we got a ton of books and a ton of toys, a LOT of Little people toys, and we have enough little people stuff that any addition is useful.  The books were for all ages, and came in two tubs we can definitely put to use.  The books we don’t want/can’t use, we’ll take to the used book store for credit.

Our cable took a dump today.  They are supposed to be bringing out a new box tomorrow (yes, Sunday…weird) and in the meantime, there’s NO TV (YAY!)  We are thinking about getting rid of the phone and tv, I’ll get a cell I can use (I have a cell…it SUCKS), and we’ll get a magic jack for the house.  It’ll be good not to have to pay for the phone anymore.

And I think that’s it for the minutaie (did I even spell that right?) of the day.

I had Magic Jack and Vonage. If I had to recommend one over the other, I’d say stay away from Magic Jack. I had it last year and it worked great… for three months then took a crap and the company pretty much said SOL. I reported them to the BBB, and eventually got my $$ back. Vonage has been very good to us.
