"Aunt Flo" finally made her appearance last night. Took long enough. Now, I’ll just wait to see how much weight I have actually lost. I hate water retention.
I did end up taking Becca’s computer, and might I say, it’s a LOT faster than my old computer, lol. I kept it hooked up, put it on the internet, and everything loads so FAST. It’s lovely. Think I’ll just keep it.
We’re supposed to be going to Sam’s Club today, to return one of the Wii’s I got for my birthday. We’ll only get store credit, but we can use that at Wal mart, Jerry thinks we should probably use it for the brakes, which is fine, they need fixing. I might use SOME of it for the two birthdays we have coming up in Sept, but I’ll have to discuss that with Jerry first. I’m giving some consideration to asking my dad for a little money, July caught us a LITTLE short because of the 2 birthdays in it. Not horribly short, just a little. We need to catch up on the electric bill, which isn’t fun. We might take the cans and bottles in to get a little extra cash (though I HAD been thinking I’d put that money towards a pool membership next summer, and maybe Grand Bethel for Syd and Bec next year). Maybe I’ll round up Syd and we can go do that quickly. If nothing else, it’ll give us a little cash to get through the next week (and maybe get that electric bill caught up!) It’s NOT like we spend crazily, though I understand how people do that. And we have somewhere around 50? dollars to see us to the end of the month (I believe) but since it’s Summer, we have gone swimming a few times, and been to the beach a few times (though not this month because of the death) and those things have cost us some money.
Speaking of money, I bid on some DDR dvds and some Barbie clothes and patterns (cheaper to make your own Barbie clothes than buy them and I’d like to make some for Christmas for Shabree) and I won one DDR dvd, will cost me a total of just under 5 dollars… couldn’t get it for that at the used game store! So I did all right… and I didn’t bid more than a couple of bucks on any of them, so all of it should cost me under 5 dollars each when you include shipping. I’ll have to put some of this stuff away for Christmas presents. Sad thing is, the girls have managed to lose most of the Barbie clothes from my childhood. Sigh. Makes one wonder WHY they’re buying more??? Well… they are cheap, that’s all I can say about that.
I’m going to wrap up and see if we’re going to go return these things that need returning (water filter as well) and see if we should go take some cans and bottles over to the self serve recycle center, since it means more money.
Have a good rest of the weekend.
