Yea, so…

I only got a couple of kits put together last night… and my old PC hooked up.  It works.  I  have NO idea why it wasn’t working before, but it is now.  I should probably get it backed up in case I can’t get it to boot again.  Honestly, it WAS booting before, the OS wasn’t coming up at all.  So I suspected a hard drive issue.  So now that this room is cold, it may be booting, but if I don’t back it up, I’ll have the same problem I had before when the hard drive heats up.  It’s a good opportunity for me.  HOWEVER, I want to figure out which font I used to make Sammi’s Week by Week book, and see if I can reproduce that for Alex’s book.  I’ll probably give up somewhat on Sammi’s week by week, or at least I’ll pick up where I actually have pictures.  Wish I could go back and do that again…but of course, I can’t.  So, oh well.  Anyway, so much for "cleaning" my scrap room… though having the kits together means more scrapbooking for me.  

Well, I’ve practically wasted this day away, sleeping.  Couldn’t be helped, I think.  I can only take so much exhaustion.  I feel better.  Starving though.  It’ll probably be 6 before dinner’s ready, but no complaints because Jerry’s making dinner.  This PC is getting in my way!  I need to get a new keyboard and mouse for it… thinking I MIGHT do that tonight.  MIGHT.  Sammi needs pullups, Alex needs a sippy cup of her own so I don’t have to take Sammi’s.  Plus, I’m going to need caffiene free soda for my nights.  I think I’m out.  I think I’d better make a plan on how I’m going to clean up the scrap room, and what I need to find.  Maybe I’ll just concentrate on the area around the scrap table/desk.  It’s a huge mess though, not sure what I’m going to do with everything.  That’s always my problem, what to do with everything.  I have a whole bunch of CDs I should probably get rid of, but I MAY need… well, I might.  This computer is old.  But some software I just can’t put on it, because I need OS 9 to do that, and I can’t put it on here.  I should really go back, initialize and reinstall the original software to it, then go and upgrade it.  I had a kernel error last night, which is VERY bad, it could even be hardware related, though I think it was because I unplugged and plugged back in the Blackberry, which I’m using for its alarm and the game brickbreaker.  Anyway, after I did that, it gave me the kernel error.  I’d plugged it into the USB port.  I’m just not sure why it gave me a kernel error.  It’s done that a few times recently.  And like I said, it’s very bad.  I wonder if I can possibly get all these digi kits off the computer without THAT being a big mess that I’ll never look at again?  Probably not.  I wonder how to go about that then.  I wish I had the "organized gene" becase I SO do not have it.  

The kids are watching Annie.  My mom played in a production of that when I was 15, I think.  She played Miss Hannigan.  She did a GOOD job, too, lol.  I thought it a perfect role for her, but then, I thought my mom was mean back then.  Isn’t that sad?  It’s a good movie/play.  I think I saw a Broadway production of it when I was a kid, too, in Denver, but I don’t remember for sure.  I love the songs from that movie, I always used to sing them.

Yea, today has been a total waste.  I’ll have to go to Walmart tonight.  They’re suggesting that they build the Super Walmart really close to my house, and I was SO happy to hear that is where they might build it.  YES!  But if they do build it there, the hours will be limited to "reasonable" hours, because of all the houses over here, so I guess we’ll see if that happens.  But if they build it at this proposed site, it’ll be around a mile from my house, totally within walking distance, and on the way to Becca’s school.  At least then if the van breaks down, I can still walk to Wal mart to get my groceries, or ride a bike (which I’d have to buy.)

Well, I am going to post this… at least it’s not lame like yesterday’s.  LOL…
