I rather like it

Okay, it IS loading slowly, or at least tending to.  I think it’s probably better now, because it’s not been loading so slowly for me.  I rather like it actually.  It gives Plus users more stuff, not that I am a Plus user, but still… I want to be a Lifetime member, so maybe I’ll treat myself to that one of these days.  I dunno… gotta talk to Jerry about it first.  I don’t think he’ll object, but I try to be polite like that.  It’s good to leave your DH in the loop w/ things that involve money.  Esp when the funds are limited.

Hm… I just realized that my interface is a couple of shades of green/blue, NOT purple.  There appears to be a save function?  I can’t tell for sure, it says undefined… it’s the disc icon on the tool bar.  I keep seeing it move, like it’s saving automatically. 

Had a WIC class this morning.  Completely pointless, unfortunately.  "Do you have any questions?" she asked me.  "No," I replied.  Because if I have a question, I go online and look it up, or I ask my doctor… but mostly I just look it up as soon as it occurs to me so I don’t forget.  It was a breast feeding class, I believe, designed I guess to keep women going… I didn’t get any formula this time.  I guess IF I need it, I’ll get it from the food bank.  Would prefer not to, but it coms in handy every once in awhile.  Mostly, I am just breast feeding and doing solids.  I’m committed to keeping going, possibly until she’s 2. 

I did a new digi layout last night, posted it on galtscrapper.blogspot.com.  I think I will also post it to 2peas, when I get a chance.  I decided to do some digi layouts, and let them print them out.  I can do the layouts, I just don’t want to have to spend the money to give them to them, lol.  In fact, I can whip up a layout pretty darn quickly any more.  I will still do traditional and hybrid, but for my family, I will do the digi layouts.  I could easily do one a week or more.  That MIGHT even be the answer to the quandary of what to do about Alex’s book…except I really want to do those tradtionally.  So I think I will just do some for the family, and still do a "book" for her. 

OH YES!!!!  I had to "force quit" OD, and guess what?  My entry was SAVED!!!  YEA!!!!  Not only that, but I WAS RIGHT, it’s an auto save feature!  WHOO HOO!  Thank goodness… didn’t realize I was going to have to "test" that feature quite so quickly!

I’m making hamburger helper for dinner.  I swear, they’ve downsized that too.  I can’t be completely sure, but it seems like it.  They’re just downsizing EVERYTHING these days.  Ice cream, soda… 8 oz cans are as much as 12 ounce cans used to be.  I suppose the only good thing about THAT is that you might just drink less soda.  I don’t fall for it though, it’s a trap.  And everywhere I go, people talk about it like "Do they think we’re stupid and won’t notice the new packaging?"  I thought the same thing, until I read something that said they conducted research panels that showed that downsizing was a lesser of a number of "evils" including raising the price.  Even Burger King did it… less french fries, same price.  What a sham that was!  And trust me, I noticed.  I notice McDonalds is a MUCH better deal now.  I can feed me and the girls for 8 dollars… 20 piece nugget value meal, large size.  I can’t do it for 10 anymore at Burger King.  Plus, McDonalds has the better play place, so it seems to be the more natural choice.  But I sure do miss my Whopper Jrs.  I like nuggets okay, but I LOVE Whopper Jrs.  Whoppers are good too… just so fattening, and sometimes too much food.

Alex is getting her tummy off the floor, finally.  Looks like she’ll be crawling any day now.  I sure do hope so.  Oh, and I FINALLY got a hold of the early intervention people.  I’ve decided to just watch Alex, and see what the eye doctor says (betcha it’s the muscle.) because if she starts crawling now, she’ll be on task for that.  But, I still have to deal with Sammi’s speech, which is definitely behind.  Well, she’ll get an earlier start than Shabree, so that’ll be good. 

Alex is crying pretty hard, so I guess I’d better go check on her.  You’d THINK that with Becca in the room with her, she’d watch her, but HA on that.  Bec thinks she’s coughing up blood…she’s coughing pretty hard.  But I doubt highly that it’s blood.  However, who knows for sure?  If it’s not one thing, it’s another!
