Camera’s upstairs
I did finish my Thanksgiving layout. But, when Jerry and I were looking at it, one of my pictures was just all wrong! Sammi was there, but waving some towel or something, so you can’t even see her face. HOW I missed that, I will NEVER know. I didn’t see it until Jerry (and Becca in her RUDE way) pointed it out! Becca, who is in Black Belt club, keeps kicking people in the butt… HARD. She says "I only tapped her" when talking about Shabree, and Shabree said it HURT. Well, I can tell you that yesterday, Becca was PLAYFULLY kicking me in the butt too, and it HURT. So I can only imagine that an angry Becca wouldn’t just TAP her younger sister…even if she did, she doesn’t even know her own strength, and I’m rather tired of her kicking people. But instead of saying "I’m sorry." She just defends herself! Like it’s OKAY that she kicked her in the butt and that it hurt. Then, she yanked Sammi out of her way… I say it was a yank, it looked like it hurt, and she was already angry/defensive about the whole kicking Shabree thing… and angry that I was having HER put away the groceries instead of me doing it (my hands HURT, and she’s 13!) Not that she said that… just her attitude. Anyway, so she yanks Sammi out of her way. She says she just moved her, but Sammi cried… so again, I’m thinking, she doesn’t even know her own strength, because it looked like a yank to me. Becca said she cried because she was taking Sammi away from what she was doing. So it escalated until Becca basically went and hit out in her room. We made her sit with us at dinner, and it was just more attitude, until Jerry told her that if she didn’t pick up the attitude, she could just go to bed and we’d see her in the morning (it was 5 p.m.) That finally seemed to work. And she’s been in a nicer/better mood since. She’s only 13, and I’m ALREADY tired of teenager-hood.
I bought some Aquaphor for my hands. The PA-in-training recommended it. She says she’s got eczema too, so she could totally relate to EVERYTHING I was saying. I really like her a lot. I hope once she’s out of school, they hire her on, I’d really like to have her as my doctor. I always see the PAs, I don’t mind a bit. They’ve got plenty of training. The dr kind of intimidates me anyway! She’s REALLY pretty cool… she had a baby at 15, dropped out of school, but went back and got her medical license… I mean, how dedicated is that? Their office is really pleasant, and they give you something to drink when you go in, and have a GREAT playroom for the kiddos… and I do love that they see the entire family, though sometimes I wonder if they’re tired of seeing ME yet? I mean, we’re in there about once a week between the 5 girls and myself. I’ve only gone 3 times myself, but I’ve been in there with each of the other kids at least once…more for Sammi and Alex. Oh…shoot, that reminds me, got to fill out some paperwork so they can get shot records for Shabree and Sammi.
Becca is still reading Breaking Dawn, and every once in awhile, I’ll read over her shoulder and cackle… because *I* know what’s coming, and she doesn’t! HA. For you Twilight fans, she’s at the point where Bella is having her baby. SUCH a good book, my favorite of the whole series.
I think I’m going to put on some Aquaphor and head up to feed Alex. I’m NOT real tired, so thinking maybe I should take a book? Oh, I should get my layout off the counter and into a book of SOME sort. I think I’ll try for a QUICK feed and come back down… I want to print some Valentine’s pictures and get that layout started. I can’t remember if I bought Valentine’s paper or Easter paper, but I hope it’s Valentine’s. I got a bunch of really great pictures, going to be hard to pick between them all.
