I’m having a baby shower! Please visit:

Well, I am researching the insurance, so by next month, should have some pretty inexpensive insurance put into place. I’m guessing I’ll go with the 30 dollar deductible, because even at that, if the doctor wants to see me each week leading up to the birth, that’s going to be 120 dollars, which is an ouch. Plus the 250 dollars for the month to pay the insurance premium… I’m going to miss Kaiser, where that stuff had no cost attached. I’ll suck it up though, and hope we don’t run out of money to pay the house payment. Actually, I really ought to budget it out. But the good part is that I think at MOST we’ll have to pay 1,000 dollars for the birth…
Hey, at least we HAVE a business we can do this through. The Medi-CAL was just NOT going to fly. Once we got that last bit of money, there was NO way. Once this bit runs out… I guess I’ll see about assistance. Problem is that I can see… Jerry will likely have to get a job, me too, I would think. Of course, then the question becomes, how to pay for 5 kids to be in some sort of day care? Oh well, cross the bridge when we come to it… I just have to wonder if we’re doing this all in vain. It’s certainly wearing on the nerves. But I’ll stay the course along with Jerry. I just… I do not know.
I want to do some scrapping tonight. I did another layout last night, it turned out really cute. REALLY cute. I like it a lot, much more than the Tigger layout. It was a lot of work, but actually only took me 2 hours to complete. Once you see it, you’ll know why. Those flowers are TIME CONSUMING.
And the other half:
You can see, I hope, why I like this layout so much. The flowers were part of a challenge to use 25 flowers on a layout, and I did it so no two flowers are the same. I used different brads if I had the same color of flower. It’s a cute layout, if I do say so myself. It was worth the time invested. Thank GOD for glue dots. The flowers are individually brad-ded, however, then the entire flower is stuck down with a glue dot, instead of trying to get all 25 flowers onto the paper with brads. I think THAT would be a nightmare. I KNOW putting it in a page protector with that many brads would be…
Now the "ribbon" is actually printed on the page. Looks good though. The other half doesn’t REALLY "go" with the first half, but I took it from my Spring Stack (from Die cuts with a view) so had to "make do" I could have used some paper with eggs on it, but I used that paper for the LAST Easter scrap page, and didn’t want to be redundant. So the paper I used has flower names all over it… I don’t care. Maybe I should have used grass paper? I am NOT sure it matters, lol. The overall effect isn’t given by the paper anyway… so what difference does it make? It doesn’t.
Isn’t Sammi just ADORABLE in these pictures? She sure LOVED egg hunting, and she was good at it, too. And the pictures of Shabree running, and Becca looking at me…. I am LOVING those pictures. I haven’t felt like getting the camera out this year, so have little to scrap, but these make me glad I did… glad I take the time to get photos, glad I scrapbook.
Well, I know I haven’t had much to say about the spiritual discussion, I haven’t put much time into thinking about it lately… feel bad about that. There’s so much to do… and I’m still waiting on a bible. NOT that I need to have a bible to think about things… but it sure does help.
Okay, I’ve got to wrap up. I know this was a short entry, but I’ve got things to do, and little time to do them in…
