Oh so tired

I am truly exhausted today. It wasn’t a PARTICULARLY short night… baby went to sleep after 10, I went to bed at 12:30, baby stayed asleep til 5, and it only took ten minutes to get her back to sleep…got up at 6:45 to take the girls to school…so that’s 6 hours with only one interruption. NOT bad, but I am tired. I think I am PMSing, timing is right. The girls are quite simply, driving me crazy. They are SUPER hyper, and between Becca’s pre-teen-ness, Syd’s ALWAYS having to be right, Shabree’s always having to be right (and not liking Becca much, she said to me today…can’t say I blame her!!!!!) There are just so many PETTY arguments…. stupid stuff.

Okay, MUST get off that subject, it’s just upsetting.

I got Shabree registered for school today!!!!! YES, it is DONE. It’s off my plate… she’ll be in Kindegarten starting July 23rd, on C track, and I have NO idea what that means for what they’ll have off… I’ll have to check the school district’s web site.

I just switched keyboards… the other one had a bad space key, this is much nicer and easier on my hands.

Shabree finished speech therapy for the year today…she’s doing SO much better! The speech therapist was really amazed, she said that she’s come so far in such a short time. You can understand Shabree almost perfectly most of the time… there’s a few words that she doesn’t quite say correctly, but you can make some quick educated guesses and get what she’s saying quickly, whereas before, it was hard to understand much of ANYTHING she said. The speech therapis also commented (and has commented before) on what a hard worker she’s been in Speech. I’m proud of her, and told her so many times.

I looked into in-home tutoring for Bec and Syd, because they haven’t been doing very well in school at all… Sydni is reading far below grade level, and Becca was, maybe is, getting Fs in 3 subjects, all academic. It’s been a real struggle to get any homework done. I plan to have Sydni reading an hour a day during the summer…we’ll see how that goes. Hopefully it’ll be fine. She does sort of like to read, but it’s hard, so it takes away from it.

I think I will go eat. I put a couple of burritos in the microwave…covered in cheddar and corn, yum… toss some southwest salsa and sour cream on them, and I’ll be SO full… lol ;)…. Love my burritos made just that way. I’ve been trying some Hoodia lately, but I can’t really say I’m seeing any real results. I bought it from Costco, so it should be a good product. I just can’t really tell if it’s actually working or not… doesn’t SEEM like it is, but again, hard to tell. I also bought a glider yesterday, which is sort of like an elliptical, but instead of going around, you glide back and forth… I have NO idea if that’s it’s actual name/title, but it’s NOT an elliptical… but it does exercise both upper and lower body, quickly and without knee strain, and it was thankfully the cheapest machine Wal mart had, and just what I wanted. I was going to buy one of the more expensive machines until I realized what they would end up doing to my knees, and the woman said her hubby uses his all the time with no problem, and he’s heavier than I am (I asked, yes) So I am looking forward to using that, but I gotta get Jerry to put it together first.

Speaking of Jerry (let me go make sure my burrito is done first!) I asked him how one of his deals that the woman actually went to the bank on Monday was going, and he tells me, Oh, she had a death in the family and had to leave town quickly…. I’m like WTH? Can their luck GET any WORSE? Good grief! If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Gees, God, or whoever, cut the man a BREAK already!

Okay, time to eat.
