No word on whether we’ll see money tomorrow. Sigh. It would have been NICE to know we were getting money in tomorrow, but there’s no telling for sure. I did do my walmart trip today, spent 465 dollars and bought all kinds of food and tolietries and detergents, etc. Whatever I thought we might need in the next month and a half, I bought. And I stocked up more than usual. I bought 8 cans of refried beans for instance, 6 jars of spaghetti sauce, 8 rolls of sausage, etc. I bought a ton of stuff. We filled 2 grocery carts full, leaving the store we had 3. I used Jerry’s credit card, had HIS license… the cashier just looks at it and asks "What’s this?" I said, it’s my husband’s. She just took it. Well one, would YOU want to put away, void out almost 500 dollars worth of food, etc? and two… if I had STOLEN the credit card, would I use it on FOOD????? NO! I’d buy a tv, DVDs, iPod, camera…something I could SELL on the street. Would I go to Walmart? NO, I’d buy on the internet where they wouldn’t ASK for my ID. So obviously, to me, anyway, it was legitimate. It only makes sense anyway. So we’re stocked up good for a month anyway. It’s nice to have food again. I’m a hoarder. I’m so scared of running out of things, ANYTHING, that when times are good, I buy much more than necessary. So I’m not sure we were ever in any real danger of running out, but we SURE as heck aren’t now! Not only that, but I won’t have to make the trip back to walmart for awhile.
Jerry and his partner, Rick (who is staying at our house and across the couch from me) are thinking things WILL go through, but it’s hard to say if we’ll actually have money tomorrow or if we have to wait til Monday. I am sure hoping it’s tomorrow… Monday feels like an eternity. I want to buy a new camera… and I will assuming this deal goes through. I want to take pictures of Sammi standing. I CAN with Becca’s camera, but it so often blurs things, that I just want to use my Canon, and it won’t take a picture of anything. I’d prefer to just get a new camera. And I WILL… I will.
Man, I’m really tired. It’s 11:11 p.m., but I didn’t get much of a nap this morning, and Sammi didn’t get a whole lot of sleep either…she got about an hour’s nap coming home from walmart, and then we was up til 11 or so. I put her down with a bottle that had formula and carrots… I need to go get it and put it in the fridge. We’ve transitioned her to her crib, which is in our room, but she really isn’t liking it. But if she’s tired enough, she doesn’t care. So I put her down with a bottle, and she’s probably asleep, so I should put the bottle in the fridge. She doesn’t seem to have any food allergies, so that’s good. I wouldn’t expect her to, but you never do know. She’s going to be 7 months day after tomoorow. The time is going SOOOO fast.
I should be working on a swap, but I think I’m going to go to bed here pretty soon. I’m just so tired. I could fall asleep here, but I think it would be weird with Rick here.
What else? We talked with Bec’s teacher today…she’s getting 2 Fs, one in spelling, and one in social studies. Basically what it’s boiling down to is Bec is lazy. She doesn’t want to do the work. She never wants to help around the house either. That’s about all I want to say on THAT subject.
Well, Jerry is going to bed, so I think I am going to join him.
You’d be surprised. When I had my purse stolen with my check book in it they had written several checks at Albertsons. They’d buy groceries so they could write the check over the amount for cash back and they even wrote a check for Bingo at a church! It was such a mess!!
