Quick note

Wow.

I forgot.

I am exhausted.  Samantha is in my arms or beside me something like 18-20 hours a day.  Though we did have some outings yesterday and the day before so she spent some time in her car seat, and she’s a good car seat baby.  Shabree was too, Sydni was NOT… she HATED being in her car seat and cried from the moment you put her in it til the moment she either fell asleep or was taken out.  So it’s nice that Sammi’s going to sleep so easily, or easily soothed by the motion of the car, etc.  She’s sleeping on the bed now (I know, I know… not supposed to be on the bed… but it’s a Queen size, and she’s fine, and I can see her from here).  She’s been sleeping with me, which makes night feedings SO MUCH easier!!!!!  Oh, what a beautiful thing THAT is… get her settled down by midnight at the latest (which is what it’s been), lay on my side, and just feed her.  This morning, I found that she’s latched on by herself, which is just perfect… I actually tend to sleep through that, so I’m actually getting some sleep, and the baby gets fed, everyone’s happy :).  Except of course, for the breast that doesn’t get used.  Oh well, whatever it takes.  It’s not painful, I’m just getting soaked, and probably ruining all my t-shirts.  Whatever. 

Shoot, not even half an hour, and she’s waking up and crying.
