8/15/06

It’s been something of a long day/short night today… I didn’t fall asleep until 2 or 3, got up at 9 to go to a scrapbook store in Tracy, stopping in Stockton first to transfer to my friend Linda’s car, whcih will seat 5 of us, and has AIR CONDITIONING!!!  No, I still haven’t gotten the van’s fixed yet.  I have a to-do list about a MILE LONG!!!!

I’m going to re-organize my "scraproom" lol… the office where I keep my scrap stuff.  But I am going to wait til I get the new wing I just ordered for my scraprack, since I’m really running out of room and don’t want to have to organize it all again… do it once, and that’s that.  I HOPE, anyway.  I guess in the meantime, I’ll get some small baggies to put all my little brads and eyelets into, so hopefully THEY can go in the scraprack as well… which will free up a lot of drawer space for me.

My mind is mush tonight, don’t quite know why except for the whole lack of sleep thing.  I’m really looking forward to getting everything organized again though.  I hope this wing comes quickly, so I can get to it!  I finally got my scraprack so it’s in the right position… all this time I’ve owned it, I had it wrong, wrong, wrong!  It’s a testament to it’s durability, that it didn’t fall apart from me having it set up wrong for the last two years. 

I told the kids I was going to weed out the things I no longer wanted, and I’d give them first dibs on it…. so of COURSE, Becca comes in asking if I’m doing this yet.  No, Becca, I need to do this in my OWN way, just give me some time, please.  Except I was already dead tired, and had enough of the kid’s pestering, so I wasn’t quite as nice as all that.  I didn’t bite her head off, chew it up and swallow it whole… I probably just bit off a small chunk 😉  I WILL get to clearing out, don’t know how much I’ll give the kids since most of what I give them ends up as junk… but I’ve got some die cuts and other things I will NEVER use, and maybe they can.  I will just tell myself that it’s NOT a waste.

I’m really tired… I should scrap if I’m not going to organize.  I should do SOMETHING more productive than being on the computer all night!
