I’ve been working on swaps tonight.  I want to get out everything I owe for August AND Sept, and maybe even some for October, so that I don’t have to do ANYTHING for swaps during the month of September.  I don’t want anything going out late if the baby is born at the end of the month, or even if she’s born at the beginning of the month.  So I’ve been working on cutting out titles, getting swap requirements, getting quotes for The Incredibles and for Playhouse Disney (I think I’ll go with the song "It’s the great big book of everything for that swap, should be cute!)

I need to go to bed though.  It’s nearly 2 a.m.  I ended up taking a nap ealier, and didn’t wake up til 8 p.m.  It’s too bad I couldn’t sleep through the night, but I had to make SOMETHING for dinner for them… microwaved lasangna, put some shells and cheese into the oven, and had Green Giant butter corn.  I love that combination, though we’ve had it QUITE a bit lately… I’m due to make some broccoli and rice… yum, I’m making myself hungry!  I guess I could have some leftovers.  Nah… too much work this late at night.  I REALLY do need to get to bed.  I WOULD like some water though.  I’m super thirsty, although all I’m going to do is make myself have to get up every 2 hours to pee.  Oh well….

Well, I really don’t have much to say… today was just a shopping day.  I got a car seat for Samantha, and a swing (whoohoo!) both Pooh Bear… when I told Jerry, he said that’s what Baby Showers are for, I told him I’m having a baby shower crop, remember?  Oh yea.  I don’t want a bunch of stuff from people that the baby will just outgrow… I can afford to buy all that.  In fact, I almost considered NOT having a baby shower, just because I don’t need anything.  But then I thought, I really wish people could help me with her scrapbook… I mean, I can join swaps and stuff like that, but then, a crop would be more personal, and people could give the baby a personal message, etc… or whatever.  I just think it would be neater, and longer lasting, to have people put together a page or two for her scrapbook.  So that’s what I’m doing, and everyone so far has thought it a GREAT idea.  And if they don’t want to do that, they can play poker with Jerry, go in the pool or hot tub, or play the more traditional baby shower games, whatever.  I’m not going to stress over it, because the baby book will get done one way or another… heck, I’m even planning on providing the supplies, people just need to bring tools, scissors and trimmers and the like :).  I already bought well over 300 dollars worth of stuff for her book… I definitely went overboard, lol… but people really won’t need anything, just their talents :).   I’m pretty excited about it (can you tell?).  It’s unusual, and personal, and will be much appreciated in years to come.
We also went to Costco, I got a globe…always wanted a globe… the girls had fun with that tonight, and we learned some geography, so that was great.  i bought some educational materials for the girls, brain quest, some software, etc.  I am hoping they’ll actually USE them… the brain quests they did use today, so that was also good.  Then we went to Joanns so i could buy embellishments while they’re still on sale, then home, where I was SO tired, all I could do was nap.  I think I slept 2 hours, it was crazy.

And on that note, I should get to sleep!
