Had my “offical” sonogram today…drum roll please
It’s a girl!
When the technican was doing her thing, I said, okay, the question highest on everyone’s mind’s, is what’s the sex… and she looks, and she says "okay, see these three lines here?" And I said, uh oh, it’s a girl. I knew this because someone sent me a link when I was around 12 weeks pregnant, and that’s how you tell…3 lines, girl, no lines, boy.
So no boys for us, this is the last baby, and we’ll be at 4 girls.
I’m thinking, Go figure, guess Jerry really DOESN’T have boy sperm ;).
Well, it WILL simplify matters, won’t it? LOL. Now to go shopping for girl scrapbook supplies (like I REALLY need any new girl scrapbook supplies. Good grief) And we have to go about naming the poor child. For whatever reason, I keep thinking Emily Elizabeth… the girl from Clifford. My brain must just be gone… it does have a ring, but NO WAY.
I do however, want to give her a "normal" name, one you can find stickers, keyrings, etc for… lol. I love that stuff, and the only child I can ever buy it for is Bec.
Well, I guess I’ll post… quick entry today.
ryn: Yup, it’s a boy!! LOL, I’ll trade you, I wanted a girl soooo bad!!! I’m due on September 17, but we’re hoping he’ll show up on the 7th…hubby’s mother passed away when he was young, and that was her birthday, so it’d mean a lot to him….

ryn: Thank you!! I do tend to be pretty middle of the road…I have my personal preferences, but far be it for me to condemn someone that doesn’t have the same preferences!! I can get a pretty bad temper, too, and so I certainly identify with the not wanting to become an abuser mentality….that’s why if I ever do find it necessary to spank my children, it won’t be while I’m angry. (c)

I myself was abused as a child by my stepfather, and I’m just not going that route, don’t even want to put myself in a position to be like that.
