Good day
Jerry took the kids today, so I had most of the day to myself. That was nice. I didn’t accomplish much, I went for a walk, but it lasted all of 10 minutes… I got outside, it was chilly, but not like freezing, but after about 5 minutes, I decided that I was actually kind of miserable, so went back home. When I got home, I realized I was wheezing, and exhausted (woah! it was ONLY 10 MINUTES!!!!) So I laid down, used my inhaler, and rested for awhile. I read some email, spent some time on my groups, joined a new group for weight loss… wrote an email that I wasn’t there to DIET, per se, just needing some help eating right and staying healthy during my pregnancy, oh, and getting my exercise… no, that was BEFORE I went for my walk, lol….
So about two hours later, I went to the grocery store, and got some fruits and veggies, some of the new Nouriche smoothie drinks from Yoplait, some light Yoplait yogurt since it was on SALE for 50 cents each (whoohoo), sour cream, and some Fiber One. So… pretty healthy faire. I wanted to do big salads for dinner, so we did that, they had everything but the kitchen sink; spinach, lettuce, carrots, broccoli, sprouts, kidney beans, eggs, black olives, cucumbers, cheese, ham, tomatos… I think that’s it. And then Jerry made a fruit salad, with apples, oranges, blueberries, grapes, strawberries, bananas, and watermelon. It was SO delicious. I buy a LOT of fruit. But generally, it ALL gets eaten (or maybe it gets wasted, I’m not sure) by us. So I don’t mind buying it. Blueberries tend to be expensive though…wish the kids wouldn’t waste the blueberries. Mostly it’s Shabree. But when a little carton of them is 4.00, it gets kind of… irritating to see them going into juice, to be thrown away later, instead of into the stomach.
So that’s about it for today… not much to report, was hardly worth writing an entry ;). But I’m proud of the fact that I had a big old salad and fruit for dinner. Most of today was good, food wise. Need to get myself some more exercise though, so 10 minutes doesn’t hurt like that… that was pretty SAD.
