sister.
I have visions of the moon etched into my mind,
Growing smaller in my vision as I fell into the grass.
I have memories of laughter, sorrow, and weeping,
Each leading into another, still the thoughts are worth keeping.
I have the feelings of a sisterhood, that strives to shine brighter,
Though the smiles have grown darker, and the sisters’ more still.
I have the echoing of happiness ringing in my ears,
For when he took my happiness, sister took away my tears.
And I have a needing, an aching, to bring back my lost sister,
For the longer we wait in Wonderland, happiness gets farther.
