E-cards

Christmas is not only a time for celebration but also a very good time to come together with your family and friends to share the joy.

Honestly I don’t have a large number of friends in my life. Most of my friends are from secondary schools and university. However it’s been a long time we haven’t kept contact with each other and I think it will be a bit odd if I suddenly called them up and chatted. Therefore, I thought about the e-card.

I think it’s a good idea to send e-cards to old friends and also the email friends. I’ve got a number of very good email friends before, we used to have long long emails chatting about many many things. I missed those days a lot, so I decided to send them e-cards in this festival.

I have sent to the old email friends and the real-life friends I seldom make contact with, as well as some good friends I have so far. I was happy when I am sending them e-cards asking about how they are doing and how their lives are, so and so. Then today I got some of their replies which really surprised me.

Oh, I never thought I could still connect with the email friends that I lost few years ago. I thought we have come to an end already. It’s so magic and it’s fate. If they changed their email addresses, there will be no way for me to find them anymore. Therefore, I was very happy now. There is nothing happier than re-connecting with the old friends after so many years of no connection.

In their mails, they told me about their recent lives and I was happy to see their words again. Although I don’t know whether we can continue to write to each other like before, I think it’s good enough as long as I know they are now doing fine on the other side of the world and I could still make contact with them today. Thanks God!

You have an very interesting diary. I used to teach kindergarten and art. Now I still teach & also do children’s programming in a library. You are Japanese & live in Japan? Is English your second language? Yes, it is so nice to connect with friends through mail.
