Doctors Appointment

I found a doctors office and I have an appointment today @ 4:15 so I’m going to leave work @ 3:45 cause it takes me 20 minutes there from work (same as with home and work). I’ll be sure to let you guys know the deal. Today I’m not as dizzy and out of sorts as I was yesterday (whassup with that anyways). Went to prayer command center meeting and picked the kids up from Track practice after working with the girls in Shot Put. Poor thangs none of the track Coaches (there’s only 2) had perfected the Shot Put. Well one of them was good with it and was teaching the girls alot (he’s an excellent coach,  like coach carter kinda coach) but he was also trying to balance out teaching the other kids about starting out the blocks for 100-200 yard dashes and the other coach was working with the relay teams. So I helped the girls out and now they are trying to recruit me to be an assistant coach……

Remember I said in my 10 things about me that I secretly think I can be famous at anything that I’m good at. Perfect example lol. I am competitive in nature and in High School Track I got MVP during my senior year for Shot Put and Discus, they were my favorite and best positions to play. When the Coach saw me teaching the girls how do a couple of throws myself he’s like,  " Oh yeah I didn’t know one of the parents was an expert in Shot Put Baby Girl you got the Job!" lol I told him I can’t always do it but I can help out from time to time if he needs me.

Then I get the schedule for the kids track meets and they are doing BIG things man. I thought it was just a little Neighborhood Track Club but they actually go out of town for track meets . I know with my work schedule I might not be able to make alot of track meets. MAN! I mean like they have a meet in Grand Rapids, MI on Memorial day weekend,  regionals are in Cedarville, Oh (I have no idea where that is lol), and nationals are in Santa Cruz,  CA. My Dad will atleast love it and try to make every meet but I so want to be a part of it too. But I know my work schedule and Church schedule may cause me to miss atleast one or two meets.

Then Football season starts in the middle of summer too so I’m gonna see how this goes. My daughter doesn’t like to run and I can see that but she is taking a liking to shot put so I’ll keep her in it and then when cheerleading season starts up she can do that (BTW she LOVES cheerleading).  Good thing for my son is that his track coach is the same as his football coach so atleast he’s getting extra work in and improving and his coach sees that and it gives him more exposure.

The first meet which is this weekend is the ONLY local track meet listed on their roster so I’m gonna have to see if I can modify my schedule to fit these meets, cause I have to work and we have to go to the studio on that same day. Man this one is gonna be a doozy. The fact that we practice for the CD On Saturdays is going to be a problem,  okay I’m getting a headache thinking about it…. but I’m excited about it too.
