1,000 days

Yesterday I got home from work and took a nap while Scott climbed up the side of a mountain. It’s amazing what that man will do for an A. (Actually, his rock climbing class didn’t climb at all. Apparently they don’t do that until their third session.)

Awakened from my nap by clatter in the kitchen, I lounged in the half-sleeping state until Scott scampered in with a dozen roses, reminding me of the 1,000th day anniversary — which I had totally forgotten.

He instructed me to change clothes and prepare for a NICE evening out — with dinner. While I was getting ready, he flew back out the door to play ultimate frisbee with a group the Coakley’s had rounded up.

Upon his return, he cleaned himself up in record time. –Boys have it so easy! Then the man whisked me away to California Pizza Kitchen.

The food: delicious. The company: better. And by the time we’ve hit our next thousand days, Scott will be weeks away from graduating. We think.

Wow! Have you two really been married a thousand days? Or have you just known each other for a thousand days? Because you’ve only been married for 2 1/2 years which, if my calcualtions are correct does not equal out to 1000 days. Hmmmm…..Make me not confused, please! RYN: She’s marrying a guy named Mike, but I can’t remember his last name right now. He’s an engineer. But not the train kind. I haven’t spent that much time with him, but he seems great. Also, they met on eharmony. I keep telling her she needs to write in so they can be on a commercial.

Good luck!!! ryn: We cruised on Carnival Cruises. It was a total blast. I heard on this trip that Princess and Royal are among the best but that there’s more of a retired crowd. If you want a lot of fun and fun activities, I would totally recommend “the fun ships” Carnival. Watch for my diary in the next few days to tell all about it.
