three weeks left!

Approximately three weeks left in school.

Then I go back August 11. One shouldn’t be talking about returning in the fall in the same breath as leaving in the spring. But August 11? Wow. Of course, the students don’t start that early; I do.

I guess I’ll try to make the most of all of it. I’ll lounge in the shade with Nibley/Maxwell; I’ll play with brushes and actions in Photoshop; I’ll get sunburned and eat strawberries and go out to eat all over Washington. I’ll become an aunt several times over, and It will be a delicious summer. I hope.

The new hire for fifth grade is promising. I should write about it, but I’d rather give Scotty attention.

Don’t get too sunburned. Ooooh, i’m so jealous you get a break from school. At least you know what you’re doing now and it’s not like your hectice summer last year when you were trying to set up an entire classroom and clean and de-junk, etc. Enjoy the summer and be happy. …being grumpy and you don’t have to deal with it. Consider yourself blessed. I have no nieces or nephews nor are there any anticipated in the near future unless everyone prays real hard that Jamie will get married withing the next year. Take care doll. Don’t forget me this summer. Love you.

Addendum: I want to live that summer EXCEPT for the becoming an aunt part. That might prove to be somewhat challenging. I do want to become a dad and an uncle though…
