wearing jeans on a school day

Yeah. I should totally be getting ready to go this morning. But things are always more relaxed when you’re doing professional development. You wear jeans, they feed you lunch, you play on your laptop, and you go home on time.

It’s perfect.

And here are my announcements for this morning:

1. Dennis asked me to be on the hiring committee for fifth grade to find Steph’s replacement.

2. We are watching the second season of the Cosby Show, which Scott put in my Easter basket. 🙂 It’s really cute, and has such a better social agenda/commentary than any modern show. I love it for so many reasons. It’s the way we get our cuddle time in the evenings.

3. Hope of America field trip next week. Wow. It’s here. And apparently, I’m in charge. Hmph.

4. I hate bawling all through the entire 3 hours of church. It’s embarassing. And you have a headache for the rest of the day.

5. But if you have to cry, it’s great to have The Husband by your side.

6. We only have to take the math CRT on-line after all! The rest will be paper/pencil.

And now I must do my hair. And makeup. And eat breakfast. And travel 10 blocks to listen to a speaker all day. And love it.

PS: I am, for now, resisting the urge to let my diary get all Bridget-Jonesy and start listing my weight in every entry. But I’m getting obsessive about it as I begin WW again. Right now I’m 121.3, with a goal to hit about 117 or so. A healty body weight for my height is 113-135, depending on how you count my height (I’m in between two ranges) but I don’t think 113 is ideal for me. I might like it, but it’s not where my body is comfortable. However, I could do 117 again. I’d like that. 🙂 And I really like being safely on the other side of 120.

STella- you’re beautiful. So you’re starting WW again, eh? Well, I guess if that’s what you want. 121 is nothing to complain about my dear. You look healthy (at least you did last time I saw you which wasn’t too long ago) and you seem to be doing well with eating good and exercising. Love you. See you Friday! Hee hee!

Do NOT complain about 121! I will kick you in the bottom. And that’s a promise.

Hmm if I could only remember when I weighed under 120… 8th grade maybe? I haven’t heard from you in awhile. Hope you are well (by the way I bawled throug all 3 hours of church on Sunday too. And then most of the day after that.) Take care!
