I have a date tonight. The person I’m going has been one date with me previously. We’ve talked in text but the conversations are short. The date was nice. But not much more can be said of it. At first it bothered me that it didn’t seem like there was much of a connection. But as I’m thinking about the date tonight, I don’t feel it matters if I don’t have a real connection right now. It’s as much about trying to get out of myself and focus on things external as it is about finding a perfect match. If the most that comes is that went with out and let someone have fun and had a little fun myself then that’s a good thing. I can use a reason to smile
