Dear Daughter
Dear Daughter,
You don’t really know me, which is a shame, because you’d love me if you did. I am your father’s ego speaking aloud. "Fun" should be my middle name, but unfortunately it isn’t.
What I wanted to tell you is this : Get away from that man you’re married to! We love him and all that crap, but he’s toxic to you. Keep him as a friend, if you must, but stop being married to him! I hear you and he have been fighting more lately, and that you even told him you are not in love with him anymore…..take the hint from yourself and GET OUT OF THE SITUATION! I’m still your father, and I still love you, no matter what, and that means I want you to be happy.
I hear tell he guilt trips you into loving him. I’ve heard this from more than one source, and both should know, because they are very close to you, as well. I never get any one-on-one time with you, because HE’S always there, lingering over us to make sure we don’t say anything forbidden. Well, forbidden or not, I think a divorce may just be in order. So there, Ed. Eat that.
To my son-in-law : Grow up and stop guilt-tripping my daughter, as if she owes you a damn thing. She doesn’t owe you SHIT! She owes HERSELF love and respect, which you deny her. It isn’t fair, and Daddy doesn’t play that. After all the trouble she’s had in her life, you want to come into the picture and manipulate her like this? I don’t fucking think so! Let go and truly let God. If she comes back of her own accord, then it might be meant to be. You’re a coward, though. You can’t let go, because you KNOW she won’t come back. That would soooo serve you right. You poison my daughter, and I despise you for that, even though I do care about you as a person.
Steer clear, kiddos. Dad’s shifting into high gear. I’m happy and healthy right now, and I’m in a take-no-shit-but-dish-it-out-to-those-who-deserve-it mode. Tiff, stay out of my line of fire. It could get ugly, and I don’t want you paying a price for what I do.
I love you.
Jacky
