We’ll be okay. I don’t know how, but I KNOW we will.
This is a time for thank yous.
First and foremost, I thank God for loving me and reminding me of it constantly, especially at the darkest times of my life.
I’d like to thank my beautiful spouse, My Key, My Mikey, with whom I have shared 362 days of wedded bliss, thus far. In three more days, we will celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary!!!!!
I’d like to thank my parents for fitting my life into theirs. They didn’t have to, and I am grateful that they always thought I was worth the effort I required. I love you, Mama and Daddy. Ok, even Wayne.
I’d like to thank my siblings. Mary Helen has been many things in my life, but one thing has never changed. She has never stopped being a strong, true-to-her-principles, in the heart GOOD woman. I know she cherishes her family, and I cherish my sister, even though I say some pretty bad things about her sometimes. My baby brother, Johnny….he’s my tower of strength. There’s nothing that boy doesn’t know how to handle, and I am grateful that God threw in a normal person in the midst of the rest of us lunatics! Thank you to Joyce, Jerry, Jesse, and Wayne Jr. for accepting us as family. You didn’t have to, and it’s a pleasure and a blessing that you did.
My babies….beginning with my older child, Tiffany.
Tiffany is the most incredible woman I have ever known, in many ways. Through her struggles, which seem to be plentiful enough to corrupt a saint’s patience and dedication, she remains a genuinely caring, loving, devoted, and thoroughly good woman herself. Elisabeth, my baby….Let me just say that nobody can bring a smile to my face with a giggle like my baby daughter. I love our girl so very much, and I’m glad we have her in our life, even if it is long distance. I’d rather long distance than not at all.
My grandchildren, my nieces, my nephews……These seem to be growing in rapid cycles!!!!!
I love you, Nathanael.
I love you, Alicia.
I love you, Isaiah.
I love you, Naomi.
I love you, Alex.
I love you, Juli.
I love you, Tessy.
I love you, KT.
I love you, Hailey.
I love you, Kadence.
I love you, Cody.
I love you, unborn-as-yet child.
I have many blessings in my life. Thankfully, I can count them when I need to!
Thank you to our friends.
Big hugs to Lola, John, David, Harpo, Jenn, and stacy.
I love you all. Thank you.
Forever,
Jack
