Our July 4th
Proving it, bit by bit……
Again, we spent a few hours in the hospital today. Jacky, Barbara, and I had been switching out all morning, but when it became evident we had to go to the hospital again (for My Mikey), I shrank away. Piers stepped to the forefront. Not good!
Piers has a way of freezing people out when he isn’t blowing up in someone’s face. He was wishing we’d have to be in a situation that required the presence of both My Mikey and a rabbit….couldn’t imagine the situation, but still….My Mikey is terrified of rabbits. I am terrified of public places. As it is, we make almost weekly pilgramages to the hospital, so you can imagine that it’s no picnic.
Well, I don’t know how much longer we’ll be going.
Finally, the moment I’ve dreaded all along came today. The snotty, bitchy doctor did everything but call My Mikey a junkie. He said, rather pointedly, that he would not give us any narcotic drugs, and then he pointed out that My Mikey had been there repeatedly. At this point, with both My Mikey and the doctor rambling on against each other, Thelma stepped up and took charge.
"This is getting us nowhere. Let us check out and get the fuck out of here!" she screamed.
So we did.
I hate that fucking doctor now. He better hope we don’t see him in there again, no matter what the reason. Maybe he’ll remember me and refuse to serve us. I would hope so.
At home, Hank came out. To the best of my knowledge, he is still the one who is out now. He is paranoid about the fourth of July since 9/11. I don’t understand, but I do sympathize.
Something is wrong with my computer….don’t quite have it pinned just what. The svchost.exe keeps eating up large amounts of memory when I start the computer. Then, when I shut svchost down, it allows me to go online, but not on our personal network! It’s crazy, but I’ll figure it out before too many moons, I hope.
My Key, My Mikey, I love you forever times PI cubed plus one,
Your Jack
Awww, sounds like a very stressful July 4 🙁
Warning Comment
Maybe that jerk doctor will pull that crap with the wrong person and face a malpractice lawsuit. Serves him right I say. Thank you for the rides today.
