1:38am – Mourning and celebrating at Christmas

PROVE IT, HERMY……

I’m on the phone with My Mikey.  We’re waiting for it to turn midnight so he can place his traditional Christmas midnight wish.  It is a tradition that just started tonight for me.

I have my beloved John and Yoko playing right now…..”Happy Christmas (War Is Over)”.

I went to Corsicana today.  I left at 4:30ish pm, and I just returned within the previous half hour or so.  Everything went extremely well, which surprised me.  Then I saw my cousin Gene. On our anniversary, he lost his wife of 13 years.

It hit me pretty hard as I drove back home.  My heart is aching for Gene.  It is also rejoicing for us that we hae each other.

Gotta go, panic time.
