6:39pm – Evening has set in

PROVE IT, HERMY……

A virtually Mikeyless day has begun to draw to a close.  After laying him down to what I thought was a nap at 3:30pm or so, I now find out that since 4:30pm, my time, he’s been awake and at the doctor with Elisabeth.

He left a voice message on the house phone saying that, but I had told Mr. Sleepy that I wouldn’t call unless I wanted to talk to Elisabeth.

Two lonely hours later, I hear from him.  It’s ok.

I just got one of the scares of my life.  I was heading to the front door to look out and see if my friend Carl had made it by yet.  I yanked open the door to find my new neighbor standing there, ready to knock.  Scared the shit out of both of us!

I am now hoping that Mikey and Elisabeth get out of the doctor’s office soon.

Boy, am I sulky sometimes or what?!!!  I feel better now.  Still missing My Mikey, of course, but better.
