NoJoMo 27 *Ladies Advice Pls*

God I’ve nearly done it!  So immensely proud of myself!
Had a lazy day today.  Me and Myke have had a troubling couple of days.  I really hope and think its behind us now though.
Thanks to you guys who recommended exercises, we’re hitting the gym tomorrow, and I have a couple of dvd’s that have been recommended that i’m going to try and get my hands on, one way or another.  I’m cutting out fizzy drinks til christmas to help, god it’s going to be awful.  I have always been a fizzy drinks person.  I like ribena (but even then, prefer it with sparkling water), an occasional coffee, a rare green tea or horlicks.  I do drink water, but still prefer the fizzies.  Sigh.  Gonna miss them so much, but if it helps, it helps right?
To all the ladies on here, whats your "beauty regime"?  Mines sporadic at best, and everyones telling me i need one sorted so I can look my best for the wedding.  It wouldn’t hurt to get one in place for day to day anyways.  I just get a bit overwhelmed with the options and buy everything and use it for a few days and forget. 🙁
Thanks guys, and thanks to everyone who’s noted every day 🙂 🙂

Beauty regimes are bs. Everyone convinced me to fork out for creams and lotions and crap before my wedding to look my best. The most effective thing I did though was sleep. In bed before midnight every night. These days I don’t have much of a beauty regime either. I swear by a good diet rich in good fats, a good multi vitamin, and taking fish oil capsules every day. I drink a heap of fizzydrinks too. All sugar free though. I find the full-sugar ones just taste like syrup.

I used to drink a lot of fizzy juice too but not so much now. I do like ribena though 🙂 I use Decleor cleanser, toner and moisturiser. Kind of expensive but at the moment it’s helping tone down my rosecea so for me it’s worth it xx

Oh! There are a few easy swaps that are helpful, and not overly expensive. The above noter has some good advice, but for skin water is also key. Try to have table spoon of Olive Oil a day! As for a skin regime? One book I read said night time is most important and you can make your own exfoliators for super cheap (there are tons of these online, I usually use white sugar and olive oil).

So in the night you do a exfoliator, toner (which can just be real lemon juice) and the whatever moisturizer you want. In the morning you don’t need to do this all over again, just rinse your face with either water, milk, or lemon juice and then moisturize. I sleep on a silk pillow case as it apparently helps with wrinkles long term (if you sleep on your side which I always do!).

Everyone is different honey so I don’t think there will ever be one tried and tested routine. In Spring and Summer I use a Clinique 3 step process, the soap, toner and double moisturiser (the gel thing and then an anti-ageing one) and in Autumn and winter I use Clinique soap and then Lush’s Gorgeous moisturiser.
