Measure Me In Metered Lines & One Decisive Stare.

It is Friday afternoon.  Yesterday morning, I got my wisdom teeth removed.  I’m actually doing a lot better than I thought I’d be.  I’m not really swollen and I haven’t started bruising yet.  Cindy called this afternoon to see how I was doing after surgery and was totally shocked that I’m not slurring and drooling all over myself.

Anyways, I’ve been sucking down chicken noodle soup and jello and chocolate pudding, and indulging in Tylenol 3’s, Advil and penicillin.  Plus, they gave me this nice contraption to ice my jaw with, that wraps around my entire head.  I look super sexy right now, guys.  Super sexy.

Erik came with me yesterday morning and didn’t even laugh at me when he saw me after surgery.  They took me out to the car (I didn’t even fall down!  I didn’t faint!  I didn’t wobble!) and my mom joked about taking a picture of me with my camera phone, and I glared at her.  Erik said, "yeah, I thought about doing that too, but I figured she might murder me later," and I nodded in agreement, because I really would have, even though I like him as much as I do.

Anyways, he was really sweet about it all.  In the waiting room before they called me in, he was trying to make lists of stuff about the trip that: a) needs to be brought; b) needs to be fixed on the car; c) needs to be fixed with the computer.  Don’t ask me, I just watched.  And then he found a car magazine in the office and flipped through that, and showed me sassy looking cars.  Not that I know what any of them do or how they run, but they’re pretty to look at.  And it’s cute, the way he tells me things that he knows I don’t understand and probably won’t remember, but tells me anyways, because it’s nice to keep me informed or something.

Anyways.  Yeah.  So, I’ve got four less teeth and a lot of T3’s and antibiotics to work my way through over the next 6 days, and a boy who is coming over to see me after he gets off of work.  In the meantime, the list is updated a little (but not much) more.  Enjoy.
