As from my previous entry. I do really want 2 children. I just can’t imagine having 2 right now. Although I don’t want to wait too long. Ideally I’d like to start trying again around Christmastime.
Anywho, we had Bruce’s 1 year check up yesterday. For some reason I got the other pediatrician. When we made the appointment in person, they gave us a reminder card and it had our Dr’s name on it. They checked to see if our Dr could squeeze him in and he couldn’t. They asked if we wanted to reschedule and I said No. Since we were there, get this done. Plus, we’re kinda on a limb right now with our insurance, so I need to get his shots in. Overall, I’m glad she’s not our main Dr. She was very nice, but it was weird, I had to ask her questions that I’d think would’ve been topics at this appointment. Like I ask about if we’re supposed to try to get him off the bottle. Also our Dr gives us all these print outs, has his stats on there, I see what the measurements of his birthmarks are at. What new to be doing. She didn’t have any of that. Oh well. She did ask about his sleeping and suggested doing sleep training. Roger wasn’t there, couldn’t get home in time, but we both have always said CIO won’t work. I’m going to research on what to try. I don’t know if it helps that we go to the cabin often. Seems when we get him going good here, we go there and it’s messed up again.
So it was one of those appointments, things went well. Although Bruce cried just about the whole time. He never cries (except for shots) with our Dr.
Length 30in. Weight 21lb 2.2oz
We finally found a bike helmet that’s small enough at Target the other day.
It took us some serious hunting to find Kate a helmet her first year. Max has a massive head and its already too small for him lol

I hate when I can’t get in to our regular doc! I know what you mean! As far as weaning off the bottle. It’s best to aim for 14 months. Bedtimes is usually the last one to go. I can email you info on topics if you are interested! I do a lot of teaching on feeding practices!
