Sleep thru the night

Since the holidays, Bruce hasn’t been sleeping thru the night much. He just wakes up once. He’s unconsolible. I change his wet diaper. I end up nursing him. I feel like this might be a bad habit but if he’s hungry, he’s hungry! This puts him to sleep after he eats.

I had decided awhile ago that maybe he’d rather the bottle more than me. He’s so distracted with me. I have to turn the TV on mute, sometimes I have to turn it off cause he’ll keep looking at it. Noone can talk, he has to look at Roger or my mom, or me. There’s NO way I could nurse in public (under a hider) even if I wanted to. I haven’t stopped nursing him myself but majority of the time it’s the bottle. Morning and night time feedings are me, the rest bottles. Friday night for instance, he woke up that night (Saturday morning) at 1:30am (the time is usually from 1:30-2). Which stinks when I have to get up so early for work. Then of course I hit snooze a couple times (I don’t recall this). Roger said he woke up when I left at 5:30am. Poopers

Saturday and Sunday, I nursed him everytime I could. He got bottles when I was at work. Both those nights, he slept 9-9:30 til 8. Is he sleeping better cause he’s being nursed or is that just coincidence? I don’t know, but I’m going to keep nursing him. I don’t know my plan for how long to breastfeed, but I’m thinking for now, another 3 months. Which reminds me, I need to call the Dr to have them send a Rx of BC to Target (3 months worth).

Bruce is currenlty napping. Roger (birthday boy) is out fishing with my dad. When he wakes up, I’ll text Roger to come get us.
