Election Day

Seriously hate election years.

I hate how people try to push their views. I hate that people post their stuff on Facebook. I hate the commercials telling you how to vote. I’m not sure if this is everywhere so pardon me if it is, but the voting yes or no on the Gay topic and voting yes or no on the voter id topic. The commercials are telling you "vote NO" (that’s majority I see). That might be how I voted, might not. It’s not to a commercial to tell me you must vote this way.

I HATE politics, I HATE the discussions people have about it. To me it sounds like arguing. To me I think since votes are annonymous, keep them that way.

As for my FB status "be proud of me, I received a sticker". I honestly have only voted once and that was when I was 19. I’m 31. This time I wanted to vote for president and on the gay and ID thing. I left everything else blank.

Although I have to say, if the results of the gay ends up being how I voted, I might post that (I voted no). That’ll be the only political thing I post (just stating that cause yes I know I’ll be eating my words of what I JUST said).

I miss the time when political opinions were like a personal thing. The age of social media has just screwed everything. People are awful and hateful and don’t understand that we all have and deserve our own opinions. I also voted no.. hoping for the best.
