Floor

It seems like it was just yesterday (9/4) that I mentioned the reorganize idea to Roger and shortly after he mentioned redoing the floor. Currently all the carpet is gone except for in the kitty room. Half the floor already has the linoleum wood laid down. Talk about fast!

Roger didn’t have to work yesterday or today so he’s using his time on the floor. We bought the stuff on Saturday and borrowed his dad’s table saw.

It makes me wonder if Roger had this idea cross his mind and didn’t say anything, then when I mentioned it, that’s why he took off with it.

I think it’ll be a lot better, then when Bruce goes to sleep, we don’t have to worry too much about the volume, Now isn’t a big issue but when he’s gets older I can see it being an issue. It’ll be nice to have extra space for a play area. Right now his swing takes up a chunk of our living room. I lay a receiving blanket on the floor for tummy time, that’s inbetween the little ottoman and the tv. There’s no more space. When he’s going to want to start playing with toys there isn’t much room for that. Also he’ll be more away from the stairs downstairs. We do have a babygate that’ll get installed.
