Language Exchange
I finally get a language exchange partner.
She’s a pleasant girl, who hopes to become a lawyer.
She studied law in Australia and is now working in a law firm.
She smokes secretly, because she’s born in a traditional Indian family.
She’s so keen on learning Cantonese.
According to her, she felt that I was a bit shy, coz she wanted to greet me with a hug, but it seemed I was embarassed by it.
I’m simple, because I didn’t have any holes in my ears, and do any make-up.(Of course, before meeting, I went hiking)
She also made me so delighted because she told me I’m a pretty girl, and she mentioned I had some beauty spots. haha
Well, we talked a lot in the meeting. Took us 3 hours.
Looking forward to our next meeting!
P.S. Actually, I sometimes ask the NET teacher if she’d like to have coffee with me, so that I have chance to practise spoken English. 😛

Why Cantonese? Why not Mandarin? I bet she knows a lot of cantonese speaking chinese in Australia. Why do you need to practice English? I thought you all communicate in English all the time, no?
