new.

 I’m allergic to new work.  I keep sneezing.  I sneezed my rib out of place.  Again.

But other than that, it’s fantastic here.  Strange in a whoa-there’s-so-little-structere-here sort of way.  Of course, I’m used to the iron-fist of Janie’s regime… so anything would be strangely easygoing after that.

But it is kind of loosey goosey.  I just have projects sort of thrust at me and they’re like Here!  Ideas!  Away with you!  Make magic happen!  (Yes, they’re all very enthusiastic and speak funny)  Anyway, I have to find some darned self-discipline and confidence so I can get rolling on this and make it amazing.  It’s just so strange to have the power to send an email or make a decision without consistently needing to get approval on it before taking action.  It puts a little bit of pressure on, doesn’t it?  I rarely made mistakes at the old gig because I wasn’t allowed to go forward on anything without Janie proofing it.  

Oh well.  I’ll get used to it.  

Keith is the most lovely man I ever intended to marry.  He is all kinds of wonderful.  He called me at work yesterday morning to see how my first day was going.  He blew my brother off to hang out with me after work (yeah, I count that as a plus) because he knew I’d be all Blaaauuuugh My first day!  I have to talk at great length about it!  And then he decided to take me to dinner to celebrate.  I loves him.

That’s all.  Gotta get back to organizing myself in the new desk and files and blah blah blah!  Mmmmmmm organizing…………..
