subconscious.

Last night I had a dream that Keith proposed to me and when I looked at the ring it became apparent that he made it on his own.  It was horrible.  It was a frame, then on the inside he had poured cement and stuck diamonds in there.  Some had sunk halfway in, so you could hardly see them, and they were generally everywhere, hot symetrical at all (I may have a little OCD problem where everything MUST be symetrical).  I was trying to be happy, but this ring was SO ugly.

My mom looked at me like "I know, but he’s so proud of himself"

And in my dream he was.  I asked him if he had made it himself.  And he said "Yeah!  It’s not bad, right?  I saved so much money!"

I am having dreams about how frugal Keith is when it comes to my engagement ring.  You’d better BELIEVE I’m telling him all about this subconscious fear of mine.  Not that he would ever attempt a cement ring for me, but still… I have a nagging doubt.
