The IOC can kiss my ass!

I have zero love for the IOC, also know as the International Olympic Committee. If it wasn’t for Comcast, Walmart and the New York Yankees, then the IOC would be the most corrupt company on the planet. I hate them with every fiber of my body, and wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire. From their disgraceful handling of the Russia doping scandal which should have been a slam dunk, to the way the handled the NHL and the loss of pro hockey players in this year’s Winter Games, the IOC is run by a group of fucking morons that all should be fired for shear incompetence.

I have not watched a single minute of this year’s Winter Games, and I refuse to watch a single part of it. I’m boycotting this year’s games, just like I did Rio two years ago. Until the IOC gets their shit in order and actually acts their age and not their shoe size, will not support this corrupt organization with a single dollar or minute watched on TV. They do not deserve my attention or my money, and will not get either until some serious changes are made.

When the NHL decided that the players would not be attending the Winter Games in 2018, this was the first time in history that I have ever agreed with Gary Bettman about anything, and I seriously hate that mother fucker. The NHL wasn’t being shown the respect and love they should be getting for a league that shut down for a month in the middle of their season every four years for the Games, and gotten shit in return for it. No insurance coverage, no expenses covers, no nothing. If I was the Commish of the NHL, I woudl have told the IOC to go fuck themselves a long time ago. The IOC has been making billions in profits off the backs of the NHL and its players, and yet they couldn’t be bothered to cover simple stuff like expenses and insurance so the NHL doesn’t actually lose money during their shutdown? Fuck you IOC, and your pathetic entitlements. I hope you enjoy your record low ratings without the NHL players… you don’t deserve to have the them in your games.

I watched the Leaf game last night, and my buds opened a can of Whoop ass on the Sens with an impressive 6-3 win. I remember waht happened the last time the NHL shut down for a month for the Games, and my team was doing well until the break and then took a nose dive out of the playoff picture after losing momentum. So that’s another reason I’m glad the NHL told the IOC where to go. The interruption of the season wasn’t worth the hassle for the NHL and it’s about time they said no.

Want to know how corrupt the IOC is… do you know where the next summer games is being held? Tokyo. That’s right, the same area that was devastated by earthquakes less than half a decade ago and also had the biggest nuclear meltdown since Chernobyl is going to host the summer games in two years time. I’m pretty sure money was the deciding factor for the IOC here, because it sure as fucking hell wasn’t about athlete safety. That nuclear plant in Fukushima is still showing “astronomical levels of radiation”, but IOC honestly thinks it’s a great idea to host marathons, track races and rowing events less than 400 kilometers away from it. This is all you need to know about the IOC and their lack of sympathy for the athletes that are basically their meal ticket. As long as the athletes continue to put up with this shit, the IOC will continued to use and exploit them.

And I really don’t give a shit if the IOC gives the 2026  Winter Games to Calgary, I’m not going to tune in and watch any of their shit. The skating events are fixed, and why are there still Russian judges after their entire team was banned from participating? That’s all you need to know about how crooked these damn sporting events are. A Canadian judge wore a wire and recorded a conversation about judges fixing the figure skating event and the IOC still didn’t do anything about it. Just a crooked organization from top to bottom. FIFA may be a bunch of crooked assholes, but at least they’re not fixing the games!

I haven’t been able to trust the IOC since the bribery scandal hit and very little was done to change how cities are selected either. Until someone steps in and cleans this house up, I have zero interest in watching any event they try to push onto us, and until we all stop watching… the IOC will never be asked to make those changes. So help me by changing the channel and watch something else.

When it comes to the Olympic Games, both summer and winter… just say no.
