No vs. Silence

 How do you know when God has told you no to a prayer or if He’s just being silent as if telling you to just wait…. I haven’t always been faithful in prayer but am now and have been for more than a year. I just don’t know how to interpret a certain situation I’ve been praying for… Is it "no" or is it "just wait"? I don’t really know how to tell…
