Just another day…

I’m starting to get sick. Sore throat, itchy, scratchy throat… UGH. Usually when it starts with just a sore throat it leads to nasty lung stuff and a horrible cough for a few weeks.
On a lighter note, I received an email from the supervisor I spoke with yesterday and she and the team are interested in interviewing me. She told me that if I was interested, then to go ahead and put the transfer paperwork in and she would call for an interview. I looked at the job posting and the job is 8 pay grades higher than mine which means it should be salaried…which means good money. I really hope this works out. Not only for the money but I’m ready for this change. I’m ready to wear business clothes instead of scrubs. I’m ready not to have to switch my schedule with someone to have a holiday off. I’m ready to work Monday-Friday and have the weekends as my own. I know this job isn’t what my degree is for but having my degree will have definitely helped me to get this position.
I’m going to apply for the job tonight. I just want to make sure that my work history on the company website matches what is on my resume. Neither is a lie, I just don’t remember the starting and ending dates of two of my EMS jobs. My resume has the right dates but I’m not sure the company website does since I haven’t updated it in a while.
