No title for this one

Two entries in two days.  As i read thru yesterdays entry tonight, i found that I was not having much luck at spelling the word two.  Several times it was tow and I didn’t even go back and change my error.  Must mean that I am not as stressed as yesterday.

Today I failed to accomplish anything major in my list.  I one good thing was that mom and I had supper together and both really enjoyed it.  My brother came by at my request to look at my fence gate and they had a chance to visit a little.  That made all of us happy.  He asked if I had a little money that he could put gas in his truck and I had already planned on giving him gas money because he fixed my mower last week and has been helping me fix my gates so I had already planned to give him 25 dollars.  Well we were saying our goodbyes, she went out to her car and got him 20 dollars.  It pleased me to see her take a little interest in his well being.  He hugged her as he left and I think it made him feel better too.  I know he is stuggling with having all the farm load on him, but he wont tell me what I can do to help, so I can only do little things like that.  His wife will not go out and get a job and he doesn’t make that much money working all the hours that he does.

But going back to my major issue with yesterday was, that a few months ago a good friend of mine and I had a huge arguement about my always promising to do things and not following thru.  And sometimes it is true. but not often and not always because it is my fault.  However this friend has made quite a few commitments to me about doing things or going places and also has fallen thru.  So yesterday was just the last straw and it made me really angry on top of all the other things that were going on.  But today it doesn’t seem to be such a big thing.  After sleeping on it it just seems not so important anymore.  Maybe a good lesson learned by sleeping on it and reexamining the issue today.

As for the good part, I took Luther to the vet today and she said she would love to take him home to be part of her pet clan.  She loved the way he smiled and really enjoyed being around people.  He was such a good boy getting his shots and being tested for heart worm.  Now we will resume his and Murphys monthly regimen of heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.  People say fleas and ticks are bad this year and I found a tick crawling the other day on my bed, so maybe I should get some of that medicine for myself also.  DOn’ want to give my puppies any cooties.

And tomorrow I will go and pick up my new pistol.  I have ordered a Ruger model 038 with no hammer.  I took my carry and conceal class last year and have been looking for a nice small pistol to carry with me and this one really seems to fit my needs.  I am out a lot at night anymore and feel safer carrying a firearm.  I will use it more for sport and target shhoting than anything, but I will feel safer with it in my possession.  I currently have a .32 5 shot pistol that is really old and I don’t want to carry it.  It does not fit my hand comfortably.  And the officers are qualifying tomorrow, so maybe I can get a few round in before work tomorrow night.  I am scheduled 6p to 6a for the next two nights.  Oh boy.

Well thats it for now, it’s time to call it a day and hit the sack.  The month of April is almost over and soon it will be May.  On the 2nd of May will be two years since I suffered my head trauma and damaged knee in the fall at work.  My lawsuit has been filed and our first court date is June 8th for a status hearing.  I don’t think I have to appear by will call my attorneys and find out for sure.  Don’t know what the future holds there, but will put it into the Lords hands and wait for His answers.  Good nite all and God bless.
