Jesus visiting Mary~
Mary woked to the ringing of bells. Was it her king summoning her? She gracefully glided to the door.
"Ah, Jesus. I was just dreaming of you."
"Oh, I interrupted your dream."
"No. I would say that your continuing my dream by being here."
Mary stood there gazing at the King of Kings. As Jesus gave the traditional hug upon meeting, she was totally mesmorize by him. But, being the perfect host, she asked Jesus,
"Would you like some tea?"
"Ah, no thanks, Mary."
"Would you like to sit in the rocker or in the loveseat?"
Jesus just smiled.
"Hmn. Is there a special reason for this visitation, Jesus?"
"Yes, Mary. Ah, how would you like to go for a walk?"
"Sounds delightful, Jesus."
As usual, Jesus took Mary’s hand. He really needed Mary in his life. He needed to feel that kinship, that beloved friend who he could share himself with. He needed someone who would sometimes hold his hand, like in his greatest of trials. He then shivered, as a vision of him praying in a garden…flashed through his mind.
After walking for a mile and having Jesus just listening to her chattering, Mary said,
"You not quite yourself today, huh Jesus?"
"Ah, I have a lot on my mind."
"Ah, and am I at the top of the list?"
"Yes, your right up there."
"Ah." Mary sighed.
Jesus then said, "I’m sorry that I put you through so much for the past month."
Mary responded, "I know that there is a divine will that shapes our ends. And I know that your will is to live, to serve God on your own. Sounds lonely. But it is your will. And I accept it."
"Well, Mary, I’m never alone. The father is always with me. So, the lonliness that others may deal with, isn’t that bad, as I become one with my father."
He wanted to say more. But how could he? How can I tell her that my heart will always ache for her? How can I tell her: if you leave me, you take a part of my heart with you? Oh, he knew that his father would heal him of the hurt, the wounded heart. But he didn’t want to lose Mary, not even for a moment. She means so much to me. But, he didn’t want her to feel obligated to be with me, just as a beloved friend.
"Jesus, I have been doing much reflection on our moments shared together."
Mary then wore a sad look, like she was gonna say something painful.
Jesus heart skipped a few beats.
Then, a moment later: Mary’s face lit up with the sun.
"Jesus, your my world; my everything. I can’t do anything without you. I cant’ even dream without you, lately. I choose to give up my life: for my prince, my king, my eternal mate of my soul. If it is your will, I will never leave you; not for a moment. How could I Jesus? I love you too much to ever do that."
Jesus wanted to hug her forevermore….
After an eternal moment, he said, "Mary, your will just happens to be my will. And I generously return all the love that is in my heart: to you."
As the father looked on: he resided in a world of bliss. He knew Mary’s heart. After all, he created it. And he knew what her choice would be. But, he didn’t let his son know just what Mary’s will would be, because he wanted his beloved son to have this moment that will forever be lodged in his heart and soul. His son knew that there is no greater love than when a friend lays down his or her life for you. Yes, the son was touched beyond belief! He knew that besides his mother, he would never have another women love him like Mary loves him. Tears of joy erupted within the father…..
Mary responded, “I know that there is a divine will that shapes our ends. And I know that your will is to live, to serve God on your own. Sounds lonely. But it is your will. And I accept it.” Reminds me of every girlfriend’s feeling when a bf decides to become a priest. Must be quite painful. Would that be called a romantic love turns into a sacrificial love? 🙂

You do a great deal of good, the simple way that you explain the Bible. . . if only more would listen, and learn! I respect your insight into the word of God.

Thank you for reading my other diary. Really nice to know that you enjoy it. I am not so good at it as you are, but I am asking the Lord to give inspiration on what subject to write just for HIM – I am tryin to reach out for the lost children out there … Hope anyone have interest in Jesus. 🙂 Happy Friday!

If I awake to the sound of ringing bells I can assure there won’t be any gracefully gliding or sliding going on. ~lol~ However, you did capture the selfless side of devotion found in love.
