Mary becoming a student teacher~

As Jesus and Mary entered the classroom, the rabbi warmly welcomed Mary.

"Mary, the place just wasn’t quite the same without your incandesent spirit."

Mary almost blush, saying,  "Well, you’ll still have the brightly shining star Jesus, next year."

The rabbi looked at Jesus, and reverentially said, "Indeed, I will.  Indeed, I will."

A brillant thought formed in the rabbi’s mind.  "Mary, how would you like trying your hand at teaching today, as a student teacher?"

"Like it?  I would love it."

"Marvellous," the rabbi said. "Let me take a seat."

Mary jumped out of her chair and confidently strode to the front of the class.

"Ok, class, let’s talk about one of my favorite subjects, that is: besides Jesus and his father; and that is the topic of: women."

The rabbi couldn’t wait to hear what he was sure: a fresh perspective on the women.

Jesus smiled, as he knew what they were all in for.

"Why don’t we begin with the Garden of Eden.  Now, for about 4,000 years, women have been receiving a bad reputation, because of Eve.  Was there no culpability on Adam’s part, as she apparently just stood by his helpmate, as Eve disobeyed God?  Hmn, Adam didn’t seem to be helping his mate, huh? Isn’t a helpmate’s job: to help his mate? I would say that Adam failed miserably in his job. He deserved to be kicked out of paradise."

Tha rabbi snickered; while Jesus wore a smile of love.

She continued, "Now, about the myth of women being the weaker gender, are we really to believe that Satan chose Eve: because she was the weaker one?  Isn’t Satan more likely to attack those who are seen to be strong, because they are close to God?  And don’t we think of inferior beings as those who are also more likely to, un-thinkingly: ‘stick to the rules,’ who aren’t likely to challenge the status quo?  For don’t we say that the inferior ones don’t have the analytical abilities to truly think for themselves; and therefore would rather merely submit than fight for anything?

"So, maybe Satan didn’t think that Eve was the weaker one, after all.  Maybe Satan wanted to go for the quick kill, thinking that man may have been the inferior one and would more likely have been the one to stubbornly act obedient, merely  because he was told to be obedient.

"And maybe Adam’s cowardly response to God shows that Satan was right in thinking that man was the inferior one.  All that Adam could do was point his finger at Eve and say, ‘She made me do it….."

Ah, how the rabbi was relishing such a captivating story. And one that could conceivably capture much truth.  Ah, but he knew that the leading rabbis at the Yeshiva wouldn’t be as accepting of Mary’s presentation, as he was. He forsaw a battle in the future concerning Mary.  And one which he knew would be well worth fighting, as he would be by his side supporting her..

Even if this bad reputation on women was from the beginning because of this Eve, still Jesus shows more love to women than any normal men would do. HE loves HIS mother so much and said to John that he should take care and always listen to his mother, and that Mary Magdelene is a loyal follower who follows HIM everywhere he goes. And it was her that the first to witness HIS resurrection at the tomb

And I think Satan fear women the most! 🙂 That’s why the Lord cursed him to move on his belly all of his life and eat dust, and that the children human shall always step on his head! *There are reasons behind all this of why the Lord create women – I am not sure if it’s only meant to make a company for man, but God has HIS plans. I believe this.* 🙂 Have a lovely day, Bri!

This was an interesting insight by Mary. It’s a common knowledge around us that Satan doesn’t attack those who are already in his grip. Anyways, though Eve was the stronger one, unfortunately she did fall. How Adam blame her for the mess is a natural human tendency to find fault with another, me thinks common to husbands and wives if left unchecked. LOL. So, let my reflections continue. Thanks, Bri, for another inspiring chapter. 🙂

It sounds like Mary has a great future in teaching. Especially teaching about woman. She’s a very smart young lady. And I appreciate her defending the woman of the world getting a bad rap because of Eve. Yep she is a very smart woman
