Misinfatuation Committee

Well, i saw him again. And again i love him. And he remembered me, and i was glad my heart was beating.

Eva and i drove up to Phoenix the day before the reading, and we hung out at the bookstore pretty much all day.

And we got front row seats. Our books signed early.

Above all this, however, is the fact that he remembered me. My name. He asked me why i was back from New York. More than my name, he remembered my details. My stupid, puny life had some kind of tiny little room in his mind.

i love him.

i slipped him his CD (See enty: Songs for the Man.) He didn’t read because he wanted to devote time to teach us and learn from us.

He gave me a god-awful costume jewlery necklace which, sadly, i am going to have to wear for the rest of my life.

He talked about Vicodin. Denis Johnson. Himself. : Things i love.

Thank you for going Eva. Jenny, it is about damn time you saw him, and i am sorry he was grumpy for you. Blame me.

heheh… i love that he gave you a necklace, that it’s hideous, and that you’re gonna wear it anyway. of course he remembered you, how could he not?? YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

his words have a way of staying with me. i just finished choke for the third or fourth time and i never read a book more than once. i don’t even know you. but your happiness and enthusiasm is infectious. 🙂
