It reminds me of when we used to belong here

A randomly stolen survey.

1: Is there a boy/girl in your life?: There is, there is! And he’s been around for quite a long time.
2: Think of the last person who hurt you; do you forgive them?: Umm…this is a loaded question. I’m going to say…no, I haven’t forgiven this person but I have moved on.
3: What do you think of when you hear the word “meow?”: A friend of mine who consistently signs her texts and emails with that word. It annoys me now, after so many years.
4: What’s something you really want right now?: Job/security/money/my own place.
5: Are you afraid of falling in love?: Never!
6: Do you like the beach?:..never. 🙂 No, I really don’t like the beach at all.
7: Have you ever slept on a couch with someone else?: Yep! Twice. It’s not quite all it’s cracked up to be, but it’s cozy.
8: What’s the background on your cell?: Umm…there’s two, I think. One is our cabin in Vermont and the other is a view from the train trip I took in Alaska.
9: Name the last four beds you sat on?: Mine, my parents’ and two different ones in Vermont, I suppose.
10: Do you like your phone?: It gets the job done.
11: Honestly, are things going the way you planned?: Nothing in the world is how I planned, but I guess that’s the cosmic joke and I’m ok with it.
12: Who was the last person whose phone number you added to your contacts?: Gads…I have no idea. Probably Treve’s new cell a few months ago.
13: Would you rather have a poodle or a Rottweiler?: If I had to choose, I’d go with the Rottie, but really, I don’t like either of those breeds.
14: Which hurts the most, physical or emotional pain?: I’ve never been driven to depression by physical pain before. That’s always been more immediate and external. Emotional pain is completely mental and seems to gnaw at one in more ways, so I’m gonna go with that.
15: Would you rather visit a zoo or an art museum?: Both are interesting, but I’d rather visit a zoo.
16: Are you tired?: Extremely. I only got about an hour of sleep last night.
17: How long have you known your 1st phone contact?: My first contact is actually a feed and grain store called Agway. I used to get my chinchilla food in bulk from them, so I guess I’ve known them for…at least 8 years.
18: Are they a relative?: Not at all.
19: Would you ever consider getting back together with any of your exes?: I think if things went south with Treve and my ex and his wife split, I’d be willing to give it a shot.
20: When did you last talk to the last person you shared a kiss with?: Two nights ago.
21: If you knew you had the right person, would you marry them today?: I think so!
22: Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?: More than once. 🙂
23: How many bracelets do you have on your wrists right now? Eight.
24: Is there a certain quote you live by?: I have lots, actually! But the biggest one is, “It is what it is.” I can’t change what’s already happened or what’s going to happen, so I can’t complain about it. Life is what it is.
25: What’s on your mind?: I’m trying very hard to stay awake because I know I’d be up at midnight if I fell asleep now at 9:30pm.
26: Do you have any piercings or tattoos?: Funny you ask! No tattoos as of yet, but my piercer today tried to talk me into getting one. (I totally would have, if I had the money and knew for certain what I wanted.) However, I have 15 holes in my ears from previous years and today I just got a rook ear piercing, which I’m totally loving.
27: What is your favorite color?: Blue, silver, black and blood red.
28: Next time you will kiss someone on the lips?: I have no idea.
29: Who are you texting?: No one at the moment.
30: Think to the last person you kissed, have you ever kissed them on a couch?: Oh yes. Among other places.
31: Have you ever had the feeling something bad was going to happen and you were right?: Yes…yes I have had that happens. In fact, I listen to those gut reactions all the time and they’ve never steered me wrong.
32: Do you have a friend of the opposite sex you can talk to?: I have several and I’m grateful.
33: Do you think anyone has feelings for you?: I know someone does. He admits it every single time we speak. It’s actually making me feel somewhat guilty, although I know that’s not the intent.
34: Has anyone ever told you you have pretty eyes?: Fairly often, actually.
35: Say the last person you kissed was kissing someone right in front of you?: It would destroy me, thanks.
36: Were you single on Valentines Day?: Nope! Although I really don’t pay much attention to the day itself.
37: Are you friends with the last person you kissed?: He’s my boy toy, so yep!
38: What do your friends call you?: A myriad of things, actually. I have a different nickname (sometimes multiple) from everyone I know and I love it. It does mean, though, that I’m not exactly used to answering to my own name anymore, which is sorta weird.
39: Has anyone upset you in the last week?: Erm…I was irritated with Treve, but I’m not sure if that was last week or this week or what. Either way, it’s all straightened out now so it’s not worth fussing over.
40: Have you ever cried over a text?: Yeah. 🙂 I’ve gotten a little misty. Never flat-out sobbing or anything.
41: Where’s your last bruise located?: I don’t have a bruise on me at the moment.
42: What is it from?: Not a clue! It’s either from being jumped on by the dog or doing something stupid, I’m sure.
43: Last time you wanted to be away from somewhere really bad?: Only most days of my entire life.
44: Who was the last person you were on the phone with?: Treve, two nights ago.
45: Do you have a favourite pair of shoes?: I have several favourite pairs of shoes and they’re all sneakers- Converse style.
46: Do you wear hats if your having a bad hair day?: Nope. I just put my hair up in a ponytail and call it good.
47: Would you ever go bald if it was the style?: I’ve never been much of a trend follower, so no.
48: Do you make supper for your family?: Now and again.
49: Does your bedroom have a door?: Are there really people out there who have bedrooms without doors?

51: Do you know anyone who hates shopping?: I don’t really enjoy shopping very much.
52: Does anything on your body hurt?: My ear is a little twinge-y from the new piercing, but I can’t say it HURTS.
53: Are goodbyes hard for you?: It depends on the kind of goodbye. “See ya tomorrow” is fine. But death and longtime friend goodbyes forever suck.
54: What was the last beverage you spilled on yourself?: Umm…I think I was talking to Ashlea and I wound up spitting sparkling water all over myself because she showed me something hysterical and I wasn’t ready.
55: How is your hair?: Well…I straightened it earlier and it was looking awesome. But then I went out in the rain so now it looks like a frizzy mess.
56: What do you usually do first in the morning?: Get dressed?
57: Do you think two people can last forever?: If they know a secret the rest of us don’t. Death is imminent!
58: Think back to January 2007, were you single?: Nope! I wasn’t.

I’m not with the person I was first in love with because he chose to end our relationship and get together with a girl he’d had a crush on years before I had met him. He’s now completely miserable in his marriage.

78: Do you remember who you had a crush on in year 7?: 7th grade…hmm… I really can’t remember much about that year at all.

89: What is something you wish you had more of?: Motivation. Money. Assertiveness. Talent.
90: Have you ever trusted someone too much?: I tend to trust people fully right away until they prove otherwise. Then it’s a VERY long road back, if at all.
