Surprise! Where have I been?

Things have been so crazy lately.  Honestly, I want to just skip right up until this past weekend.  As of Friday, yes the 13th, I am now a married woman!  It was a spur of the moment thing, just me, the kids and my family at the courthouse and got it done.  We talked for so long about going to Vegas or even just having a small wedding, but we have realized it never would have happened.  I think I’m still waiting for it to really hit me that I am married, but it’s definitely a day I have waited for for so long.  K and I have been together for almost 3 years and I seriously wondered sometimes if it would ever happen.  I now don’t have to worry! 
We didn’t do a lot the weekend just spent a lot of time together and relaxed.  We went out Friday night with a bunch of friends and had a blast.  It was so nice to just get out not have to worry about kids or anything else.  Saturday we spent the day running around and just hanging out.  Had no where to be and just enjoyed time together.  We went out just the two of us that night and had a really nice time.  It’s crazy how the simplest things can be so fitting. Yesterday we went golfing, which is something we LOVE to do together.  K’s best friend took us for our wedding gift.  Him and I haven’t always seen eye to eye but I do love the guy, he’s such a great friend to K.  By the time we got home lastnight I was totally pooped.  I have a terrible sunburn, but I really can’t complain it was an awesome weekend and even though today is my 28th birthday it’s back to the daily grind.  But just had to share the news!
