This seems impossible…and Weekend plans!

Today has me pulling my hair out. I have done nothing but clean all day long, and you can’t even tell! The only room that really shows progress is our bedroom. The laundry room looks better because I have almost all the laundry done, but it’s frustrating. I have cleaned the kitchen going on three times now, the living room I gave up after the second time. It’s just impossible. I have cleaned up spilled juice on the carpet three times. Today I only have my two kids and my brother since school got out about 2:30. Starting next week I will have my cousins 2 kids. One from sometime in the morning, then have to pick the other one up around 11:30 and then my brother at 2:30…plus my two kids. Shoot me! Well I guess the nice thing is I only have my cousins kids Tuesdays and Thursdays. So really it’s not that bad and it gives me a little extra cash. I’m just going to have to get used to the fact my house is not going to be clean. I really really want to get my carpets cleaned, but that is a stupid idea after today. Actually, I made a new rule with the kids that there is nothing to be ate or drank off the tile in the kitchen. Mason is actually pretty careful, but now that Kaelee can reach and get into things she’s the majority of the problem when it comes to him spilling…it’s her spilling his stuff lol.
I am so ready for K to be home. He will be home sometime tonight. Both the kids seem just as excited as I do. It’s been one rough week! I think it has done us some good though. It’s definitely good on a relationship to miss each other once in a while. LOL. This weekend, I really don’t think we have much planned. I thought I was going to have to work. Oh…yeah…so my sister J(the one that lives with us now) has this job at a little place around here that has an actual restraunt(sp? i tried) and they also cater a lot of parties and I try and catch a few here and there on the weekend (when they ask), but apparently they didn’t need me tomorrow so I think we are gonna take the kids to the crash derby. Then if I can talk J into it after we might go have some adult time with some of K’s friends. It’s definitely long overdue. We need a night out…and some us time. I can’t even remember the last time we’ve done that. Once in a while we will go golfing with friends or whatever, but that’s about it. I’m hoping she’ll be willing to help us out. If not, no big, we’ll find something to occupy our time at home with the kids after. Maybe just a movie and cuddling! That works just as good!
Well, Kaelee is napping..probably be short lived…and Mason’s about to dose off and my brother is calmed right down so I’m gonna rush to get some cleaning done!
