Just A Ramblin On

Just to clear it up, I’m not selling the car because it’s a piece of junk or anything. In fact I’ve had no problems with it. I’m selling it because I want something bigger. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) we’re going to start having kids and it’d just be a pain to try and get a car seat in and out of that thing.
So yeah…anyways, how was everyone’s weekend…and Father’s Day? I felt bad because we didn’t spend it with my dad…but we spent Saturday night with him. We ended up going bowling…it wasn’t until like 9:30, but we went. It was me, Matt, both my sisters, my sisters friend and her boyfriend, my step bro and sis, and then my dad’s girlfriend and her son. I LOVE my dad’s girlfriend. She’s actually pretty shy and layed back, but I just like how my dad acts around her compared to how he acted around his other girlfriends. It was way fun. They are way good bowlers though..I never knew my dad bowls, but my mom was saying that he was on a league and everything back in the day. So yeah…we didn’t get home til after like midnight..but it was cool. It was tons of fun.
Sunday we just got up and bummed around. I slept the entire morning. Woke up at 11 in time to watch the race. I was bummed out before they even got finished with the first lap because Mark Martin lost his transmission, but he ended up getting it changed and back out on the track after 18 laps. Not too bad. He would have done relaly good if he hadn’t had to go those laps down because he had a fast car.
Anyways, it was an alright race.
Then we went to Ririe and visited with matt’s family. Had a nice dinner and then just visited forever. We ended up watching Larry The Cable Guy-Git R Done…I laughed my ass off. I had seen it before, but I guess I hadn’t paid that much attention because I laughed so hard.
Anyways, we came home and I was messing around on the computer and Krista called me! I was like in total shock. We talked for like an hour and 30 something minutes. It was the nicest chat I’d had in a long time. I’m definitely going to be calling her sometime soon. I hope she gets a computer soon.
Anyways, today was a pretty busy day. I did awesome on my diet though. Go me! It was nice to be busy though because it kept my brain from going on overload lol..long story. Anyways, we found out that the pickup we are buying does have a slight oil leak and they are going to replace the valve covers, intake, and oil pan gaskets. The parts alone aren’t going to cost me more than $50 it’s the friggen labor that’s going to cost us $350. We added $200 into the loan thinking it would be enough…notta…gonna have to come up with $200 more. Matt could do it himself, but based on what the book says it’s a 9 hour job! He said to just tell them to go ahead and do it. They havne’t got started yet because they’re just waiting to here if we get the loan approved. We ended up going through a credit union because the interest was too high through Ford. Hopefully I’ll get a call tomorrow to go and sign papers.
Anyways, tonight I’ve just been bumming. Had a nice work out and what not.
Well it’s about bed time…gotta go :o)
